However, like any company, we have ambitions of growth and profitability, and we adopt the market economy codes: to be efficient, competitive and profitable in our activity of producing elastic bands and silicone coating.
Today, we work for three main sectors: medical - fashion and lingerie - industry.
Our ambition is to aim for excellence by being innovative, reliable and proposing the right solutions in order to accompany our customers in the achievement of their projects.
We are a 40 employees’ company, located in the heart of France, in Le Puy-en-Velay. The company was created in 1860 by Léon Fontanille, who launched a human and industrial adventure that keep on going for decades. The objective is to put innovation at the service of comfort and well-being in the design and production of laces and elastic bands.
In December 2012, Fontanille structure's changes: Fontanille SA becomes Fontanille Scop. The choice of this model of cooperative and participative company was guided by the desire to put the employees back at the heart of the business. Through this project, we wish to convey values of equity, transparency, democracy, solidarity and responsibility.
